QALAT, Afghanistan -- A Shajoy village elder sips purified water after Zabul Provincial Reconstruction Team medical personnel introduced a new water sanitation process called hypochlorite generation, July 31. The team chose Shajoy to test run the process, which (after initial costs) creates clean drinking water for 300 families or 4,000 to 5,000 people at just $5 per month. (U.S. Air Force photo by Capt.
