JOINT BASE BALAD, Iraq -- Staff Sgt. Joshua Sallander, 64th Expeditionary Helicopter Maintenance Unit crew chief, sits on the tail rotor of an HH-60 Pave Hawk while it's loaded onto a C-17 Globemaster III here July 12. Positioning several Airmen around and on the helicopter ensures it will not make contact with the aircraft and cause damage. The HH-60 is in a folded configuration to better fit into the C-17.
