U.S. Air Force Capt. Patrick Kellerman, left, 380th Expeditionary Maintenace Squadron munitions flight chief, explains the low collateral capabilities of the GBU-38 version four to pilots of the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing at the temporary munitions storage area in an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia July 15, 2013. The bomb has only 27 pounds of explosive material and is used for precision targets where a small blast is needed. The pilots took a tour of the temporary munitions storage area in the hopes of gaining more knowledge of what goes into building munitions. Kellerman calls Fayetville, Ga., home and is deployed from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Jacob Morgan)
