U.S. Air Force Capt. Nick Harris, 75th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron A-10 Thunderbolt II pilot, flies a combat sortie, April 2, 2014, over Northeast, Afghanistan. Harris is a Denver native. The A-10 Thunderbolt II is the first Air Force aircraft specifically designed for close air support of ground forces.
