U.S. Air Forces Central Command Assistant Deputy Commander Brig. Gen. John Dolan has his picture taken by Sumter's "The Item" newspaper reporter Bristow Marchant, March 20, 2014. Dolan arrived here in January after serving a year deployed as the Commander of the 451st Air Expeditionary Wing and Kandahar Airfield (NATO) in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Dolan is an F-16 Fighting Falcon pilot with 4,000 flying hours and more than 1,000 hours in combat. Dolan was recently nominated to the rank of major general. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Maj.
