379th AEW shows 8th graders how the Air force does business

Staff Sgt. Stephanie Pileggi and Senior Airman Joe DeLullo help a student don a Level A suit which is a fully encapsulated hazardous materials suit that includes a self-contained breathing apparatus an air tank and face piece during the American School of Doha’s third annual 8th grade field trip to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, Mar. 10, 2014. The 379th Air Expeditionary Wing hosted a field trip for students showcasing the variety of careers available to Airmen. Around 150 students came to the base to see how Airmen live, where they work and exactly what they do. Pileggi and DeLullo are both 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron readiness and emergency management journeymen. Pileggi is deployed from Scott Air Force base, Ill., and a New Smyrna Beach, Fl., native. DeLullo is deployed from Minot Air Force Base. N.D., and a native of Williamsport, Pa.
