Senior Airman Anthonie Owens, 376th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron boom operator, runs through a boom operator manual on board a KC-135 Stratotankers to ensure required checklist items are complete, prior to making contact with a refueling aircraft over the mountains of Afghanistan, Dec. 15, 2013.
