Airmen keep aircraft on schedule

Tech. Sgt. Russell O’Farrell (background) and Senior Airman Michael Johnson (foreground), 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 746th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Unit,align a C-130 fasten an engine on to an engine stand 379th Air Expeditionary Wing, Southwest Asia, Dec. 11, 2013. The 557th Expeditionary Red Horse Squadron provided short notice support for the engine swap by providing the crane and personnel to hoist the engine out and install the new engine. The combined efforts contributed to the engine being changed out in 12 hours and the aircraft ready to fly on schedule. O’Farrell is a propulsion craftsman deployed from Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., and a Pensacola, Fla., native.
