Kerrigan is an AH-1Z Cobra Attack Helicopter pilot assigned to VMM 1-66 of the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit deployed from Camp Pendleton, Calif., and calls San Diego home. Department of Defense officials stated the Dubai Airshow highlights DOD aviation technology as well as the men and women who serve. The U.S. participates in DAS to demonstrate a commitment to regional security, to demonstrate the flexibility of air power, and to strengthen military to military relationships with regional partners.
