Final reenlistment at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan

Col. Matthew Powell (left), 451st Expeditionary Maintenance Group commander, performs the Oath of Enlistment for Chief Master Sgt. Guillermo Castillo (right), 451st Expeditionary Maintenance Group wing weapons manager, at Castillo’s final reenlistment Oct. 21, 2013, at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. This reenlistment will take Castillo to 30 years of enlistment, the high year of tenure for a chief master sergeant. Castillo will join the ranks of a small percentage of U.S. Americans to serve in the military for 30 years.
