The Yurt located on the Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyzstan, receives a new cover Sept. 7, 2013. The structure represents the “spirit of Kyrgyzstan” and symbolizes the friendship between the Transit Center and its local Kyrgyz neighbors. The Yurt is a nomadic-type dwelling used for centuries throughout the country. Skilled Yurt builders from the country’s Issyk-Kul Lake region traveled four hours to make the renovations.
