Sticking it to the asphalt

A C-130 Hercules lands on the Zulu runway of Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, August 10, 2013. The aircraft was the first to land on the newly completed runway. The Zulu runway was originally built by the Soviets in 1959 has been under repairs and the construction. That reconstruction ended Aug. 10 and now the Zulu runway is serving as a temporary runway while the primary runway is repaired.
