Afghan meteorologists showcase capabilities to forecast weather changes from mountain to desert ranges
The Afghan Air Force director of meteorology teaches a course on forecasting codes to Afghan weather officers at the Kabul Air Wing, Hamid Karzai International Airport, Kabul, Afghanistan. This colonel reached a major milestone for sustainability and professionalism of the AAF operation support squadron by hosting a two-week course to bring Afghan weather officers from across Afghanistan together to hone their skills and learn new techniques. His advisor, Capt. Haley Homan, Train, Advise, Assist Command-Air (TAAC-Air), was also available to teach various subjects on weather observation and forecasting. (U.S. Air Force photo by Capt.
