A Battlefield Airman assigned to the 52nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron uses a buzz saw to cut into a downed aircraft to reach survivors after a simulated aircraft crash during a combat search and rescue (CSAR) training exercise at a dirt landing strip in Iraq, July 15, 2018. The CSAR exercise was conducted to help validate required training to perform mission taskings and utilization of various assets on a large scale. Battlefield Airmen assigned throughout the combined joint operations area are conducting operations supporting Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve.
