Battlefield Airmen assigned to the 52nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron transport exercise role players to an HH-60 Pave Hawk assigned to the 46th Expeditionary Rescue Squadron after a simulated aircraft crash during a combat search and rescue training (CSAR) exercise at a dirt landing strip in Iraq, July 15, 2018. The CSAR exercise was conducted to help validate required training to perform mission taskings and utilization of the various assets on a large scale. Battlefield Airmen assigned throughout the combined joint operational area conduct operations in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve.
