Title
Engineering flight leads the way
Senior Airman Nicolas Florez, 407th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron engineering journeyman, explains to Col. Scott Gibson, 407th Air Expeditionary Group commander, how to use a ground penetrating radar system at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia, Oct. 9, 2018. A ground penetrating radar system detects subsurface objects and is mainly used to locate utility lines before construction begins to prevent damage to the lines. The engineering flight gave Gibson hands-on training to gain a better understanding of the unit and their mission capabilities. (U.S Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Dana J. Cable)
