A new salad bar awaits placement at the Independence Dining Facility on Aug. 8, 2019 at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. The salad bar is being replaced after being identified as one of the root causes of pests at the DFAC. The DFAC was closed on July 25, 2019 to address maintenance issues concerning pests.
