A U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle performs a flyover during the 2020 Kuwait Aviation Show at the Kuwait International Airport, Farwaniya, Kuwait, Jan. 16, 2020. This marks the first year that Kuwait has hosted U.S. military aircraft for aerial demonstrations. In addition to the Strike Eagles, other participating U.S. aircraft included the U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II, the U.S. Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey and U.S. Navy EA-18G Growler. U.S. military participation in the KAS helps demonstrate how equipment can be employed, which helps allied and partner nations evaluate whether U.S. assets are a cost-effective way of meeting their security needs.
