The 378th Air Expeditionary Wing conducted a joint force mass casualty exercise March 6, 2021 at Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The exercise gave Airmen, Soldiers, and Seamen the chance to hone their triage, treatment and medical transportation skills for a large number of simulated wounded in a stressful environment. PSAB’s caregivers were evaluated on their ability to rapidly and efficiently provide life-saving treatment and transport wounded to higher levels of care. The event also allowed PSAB’s operation and base support elements to test their ability to perform their missions during and following simulated hostile actions. (U.S. Air Force photos Master Sgt. Wes Wright).
