PSAB demonstrates readiness with mass casualty, missile defense exercise

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Michael Zumbrunn, 378th Host Nation Coordination Cell liaison administrator, paints U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Danielle Barnett’s face, 378th Air Expeditionary Wing Flight Safety noncommissioned officer-in-charge, for a mass casualty and missile defense exercise at Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oct. 28 2021. The exercise gave Soldiers and Airmen the chance to hone their triage, treatment and medical transportation skills for a large number of simulated wounded personnel during a missile attack scenario. The training was held in coordination with Air and Missile Defense Exercise 22-01, a semi-annual U.S. Air Forces Central-led exercise that develops and exercises tactics, techniques and procedures against simulated air and missile threats, held in multiple locations throughout the U.S. Central Command theater.
