386th ECES Airman wins USO Service Member of the Year

Using the experiences and skills he has received throughout his career and in the Topeka Fire Department, he has worked with the team to craft training covering new techniques and tactics in the fire protection career field. Tafanelli was recently recognized at the United Service Organizations Service Member of the Year award for responding to 318 emergencies, including 61 fires and 128 motor vehicle accidents as a firefighter in Topeka, Kansas.
