379 ELRS vehicle maintenance implements innovative nitrogen gas testing method for air conditioning systems

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Stephen Frane, 379th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron vehicle maintenance technician, replaces a leaking air conditioning component underneath a bus within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, Dec. 23, 2025. Frane used an innovative nitrogen testing method to quickly identify the source of the leak, fixing it quickly and returning the bus to service ensuring service members around the installation continue to receive transportation.
