    Far from home in a deployed environment, many components make up the complex, yet dynamic mission. Members of the Utah National Guard, also known as UTANG, are one of those key components here at Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates.

    QA making sure it’s done right

    Going the extra step to ensure things are done the right way is what the Air Force is about. This precaution is pertinent to Airmen’s safety and the Air Force’s mission. The 380th Expeditionary Maintenance Group Quality Assurance team is responsible for serving as the primary technical advisory agency to the Maintenance Group commander. This group of Airmen act as a force of safety for anything having to do with the flight line.

    Aircraft have a multitude of capabilities. One of the most vital is dropping bombs and other munitions. Whether it’s for joint-force training or in combat, there are Airmen on the ground responsible for getting those munitions where they need to be.
