TSgt Robert Hardesty discussed his involvement with the humanitarian aid airdrop near Amirli Iraq, August 31, 2014.
TSgt Hardesty is a loadmaster from the 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron. The C-17 he flew on consisted of containment delivery systems filled with 52,000 lbs of drinking water. TSgt Hardesty’s hometown is Lexington, Oklahoma. He is from the 17th Airlift Squadron, Joint Base Charleston.
