A 332d Air Expeditionary Wing F-16 Fighting Falcon pilot places a folded American flag in the cockpit during preflight procedures in Southwest Asia, Feb. 8, 2022. The F-16 is a compact, multi-role fighter aircraft that delivers war-winning airpower to the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility. 332d AEW Airmen can honor an individual or group by having a flag carried in a combat zone by the HC-130J Combat King, F-16 Fighting Falcon, HH-60J Pave Hawks, MQ-9A Reaper, and military working dogs.
