Power Production Updates Arresting Cable System

An F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft from the 389th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, assigned to the 332d Air Expeditionary Wing, performs a test of the Aircraft Arresting System at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia, Feb. 10, 2023. The Aircraft Arresting System is a cable that runs across the flight line which is caught by aircraft’s tail hook in the event of an emergency where the aircraft has lost the ability to stop under its own power.
