332D AIR EXPEDITIONARY WING -- 332d Expeditionary Medical Group's Warrior of the Week for the week of Jan. 30, 2022 is Senior Airman Tommy Jones, lab technician, who arrived ready to go the extra mile.
"Senior Airman Jones arrived on station and hit the ground running as COVID spiked across the base," said Lt. Col. Cynthia Newberry, 332d EMDG deputy commander. "On his first day, he jumped right into learning the lab processes here so the medical group could run 24-hour operations. He continues to go above and beyond by staying late, working various hours to ensure the mission gets accomplished, and all while having a positive attitude!"
Warrior of the Week is a competitive recognition program that highlights significant contributions made by individual Airmen who raise the Red Tail standard and enhance the mission and capabilities of the 332d Air Expeditionary Wing.
"From day one, I just dedicated all my time to getting those tests done and getting reliable results out to the patients," said Jones. "This team effort allowed fliers to fly, the mission to continue, and people to go home. Being a part of the unit is amazing."
Jones plans to become an Office of Special Investigations agent and hails from Shreveport, Louisiana.
