332D AIR EXPEDITIONARY WING -- The 332d Air Expeditionary Wing's Warrior of the Week for the week of Jan. 30, 2022 is Senior Airman Jagan M. Hayes, 55th Fighter Squadron aircrew flight equipment journeyman.
Hayes is responsible for the maintenance and safety of flight equipment and runs the composite tool kit and precision measurement equipment laboratory programs.
She trains four Airmen and completed 1,600 maintenance actions that lead to securing an overall satisfactory on the shops staff assistance visit inspection.
“We are responsible for everything a pilot wears and uses during flight and it’s our mission to make sure that gear works as intended 100% of the time,” said Hayes.
Warrior of the Week is a competitive recognition program that highlights significant contributions made by individual Airmen who raise the Red Tail standard and enhance the mission and capabilities of the 332d Air Expeditionary Wing.
“Being chosen as the Warrior of the Week has shown me that my teammates believe in me and trust me to get the job done, but I couldn’t do what I do on a daily basis without their support and overall dedication to this job,” she said.
Hayes looks forward to furthering her military career and has plans to pursue a degree in law. She also enjoys spending time with her family and hails from Waycross, Georgia.
