The 332d Air Expeditionary Wing’s Warrior of the Week for the week of Nov. 6, 2022, is Airman 1st Class Cameron Thomas, 332d Expeditionary Communications Squadron Base Equipment Control Officer.

Thomas was recognized for his management of the base Information Technology inventory, controlling a combined $14.7 million in assets. He is also leading a base technology refresh, allowing hundreds of users to upgrade IT equipment for higher performance in an updated network. His chain of command says that this initiative is above the call of duty.

“Airman 1st Class Thomas is a one-man shop in what is normally a Non-Commissioned Officer [role],” says Tech. Sgt. Bryan Green, 332d ECS Communications Squadron Focal Point and Client Service Center Section Chief.

Thomas aspires to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Network Security, and acquire more certifications in the IT career field. In his free time he enjoys sports, music, the outdoors, and video games.

Warrior of the Week is a competitive recognition program that highlights significant contributions made by individual Airmen who raise the Red Tail standard and enhance the mission and capabilities of the 332d Air Expeditionary Wing.
