The 332d Air Expeditionary Wing’s Warrior of the Week for the week of Dec. 5, 2022, is Tech. Sgt. Dustin VanMeter, 332d Air Expeditionary Wing A4 Programs specialist. A4 is the directorate responsible for Logistics, Maintenance, Engineering, Force Protection, and Operational Contracting Support.

VanMeter was recognized for coordinating command and control of the wing’s largest directorate, managing $79,000 worth of IT assets and 22 commander-appointed programs. He also spearheaded joint efforts with partner nations, coordinating a meeting that facilitated the development of a new Defense Cooperation Agreement. These agreements establish customs clearance procedures for American assets and personnel traveling across international lines, which make up part of the Agile Combat Employment construct.

“Any project we give to him, he just knocks right out of the park,” says Capt. Nikul Joshi, A4 Maintenance Division Chief. “He’s just an outstanding individual, and we’re so lucky to have him.”

VanMeter is working towards a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. In his free time, he enjoys cars and woodworking.

Warrior of the Week is a competitive recognition program that highlights significant contributions made by individual Airmen who raise the Red Tail standard and enhance the mission and capabilities of the 332d Air Expeditionary Wing.
