Deployed service members were invited to "rock out" with the band Transmit Now, July 7, at the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing here during an Armed Forces Entertainment tour across the region.

Transmit Now is an alternative, pop-rock band from Orlando, Fla., who staked their claim to fame after winning an online "Battle of the Bands" contest, resulting in their first live performance in 2008.

Andy Brooks, Transmit Now vocalist said, "A punk-rock work ethic and a love for their music is what sets Transmit Now apart from the rest of the power-pop crowd."
