In an effort to regenerate morale in deployed service members, the 379th Expeditionary Force Support Squadron hosted rhythm and blues vocalist, J. Holiday, for a concert in Memorial Plaza at the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing here, June 18.

The Washington D.C., native, established his music career with Billboard Hot 100 single, "Bed," in 2007 and cites R&B singer, Ginuwine, as his biggest musical influence.

The 379th EFSS coordinates with the United Service Organization, Armed Forces Entertainment and in some cases contracts directly with artists to bring them into the area of responsibility, giving deployed service members a chance to kick off their boots and enjoy a show.
