Airman 1st Class Stacy Welch, a police officer with the 379th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, inspects the passenger compartment of a vehicle prior to it entering the base, March 3, 2009, in an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Vehicles coming from off base are searched to ensure the safety of base personnel as well as to ensure no contraband is brought in. Airman Welch is native to Little Rock, Ark. and is deployed from Barksdale Air Force Base, La., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
