Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa
Staff Sgt. Grahame Evelyn uses a towel to dry the floor while Staff Sgt. Eric Green uses a wet vacuum to remove excess water from a flooded dorm room Nov. 26, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. Both sergeants are heating, ventilation and air conditioning craftsmen assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron deployed in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. The flood was caused by a bad isolation valve and these 379 ECES members are responsible for minimizing water damage by removing all water from the area. Sergeant Evelyn, a native of Sumter, S.C., is deployed from Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., and Sergeant Green, a native of Saint Catherine, Jamaica, is deployed from Charleston AFB, S.C.
