Rumble in the Deid: AUAB hosts boxing event

AL UDEID AIR BASE, Qatar --  

U.S. Air Force first sergeants assigned to Al Udeid Air Base put together a boxing event, suitably named Rumble in the Deid, to build morale and develop warfighters at AUAB, Qatar, Sept. 8, 2023.

The event brought more than 35 service members into the ring, built by 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron Airmen, to test their war-fighting skills. Each fighter was paired with someone in the same weight class and prior boxing experience. Hundreds of AUAB personnel attended the event to cheer on the fighters and share in the camaraderie.
