AL UDEID AIR BASE, Qatar -- The 379th Air Expeditionary Wing and host nation worked together to practice emergency response procedures during a Major Accident Recovery Exercise April 26, at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. Approximately 95 wing and 22 host nation emergency responders, ranging from security forces, command and control, fire department, and medical, were put into action to aid and recover a simulated KC-135 Stratotanker mishap. The exercise focused on mission assurance of command and control, interoperability, and how the wing and host nation function together.
