New CT scanner bolsters medical capabilities in theater

U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Benjamin Zamora, 379th Medical Support Squadron diagnostic sonographer, lies down to test the operability of the new Computed Tomography scanner at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, Nov. 21, 2016. The CT scanner utilizes motion and X-ray technology to create a complete 360 degree image of the human body, making it easier for doctors to diagnose any issues that they would not normally be able to see.
