COLONEL JARON H. ROUX

Colonel Jaron H. Roux currently serves as the Vice Commander, 380th Air Expeditionary Wing, Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates. The 380th is comprised of four groups and 15 squadrons. As Vice Commander, he is responsible for the wing’s air refueling, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, air battle management, control and reporting center, ground attack, air support, theater security cooperation and airlift missions in support of overseas contingency operations in Southwest Asia. 
 
Col Roux graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in May 2000.  After completing pilot training, he was assigned to Charleston AFB SC, flying the C-17A Globemaster III. His staff tours include duty at HQ United States Air Force Academy, the Joint Staff, and Headquarters Air Mobility Command.  
 
Col Roux is a distinguished graduate of Air Command and Staff College and a graduate of the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies. Col Roux also Commanded the 62d Operations Support Squadron, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, where he led more than 290 military and civilian personnel, across eight unique flights, in the daily execution of airlift, airdrop, aeromedical evacuation and humanitarian missions around the globe supporting U.S. national interests.
