380th Air Expeditionary Wing honor guardsmen watch American flags burn during a flag retirement ceremony within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, Jan. 9, 2025. The flags were burned during a retirement ceremony in order to properly dispose of them and honor the legacy of the American flag.
