Doctor from 380th AEW provides medical support to 2011 Dubai Airshow
Lt. Col. (Dr.) Kai-Wood Ma, the deputy group commander and the chief of aerospace medicine for the 380th Expeditionary Medical Group, takes the blood pressure of a sick-call patient during the 2011 Dubai Airshow, Nov. 12, 2011. This is the first time the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing has provided sick-call support for the international event, which was held at the Dubai International Airport Nov. 13-17. Ma also worked with the emergency management team to determine hospitals that could treat the Department of Defense personnel attending the show if needed in an emergency. The U.S. military is participating in the 2011 Dubai Airshow to nurture partnerships in the region and foster a shared commitment to security.
