Maj. Gen. Jones visits deployed men and women at 380 AEW

SOUTHWEST ASIA --  Maj. Gen. James J. Jones, the deputy commander for U.S. Air Forces Central Command, visited deployed personnel at the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing Sept. 2, to learn more about how they support overseas contingency operations.

Jones toured base facilities including aircraft hangars at the flightline, the 380th Expeditionary Communication Squadron and the Oasis dining facility.

Jones also serves as the deputy commander of the Combined Force Air Component of U.S. Central Command and the vice commander of the 9th Air Expeditionary Task Force for Air Combat Command.
