Three Tactical Air Control Party members and their air liaison officer pause to pay respect to their fallen brothers at a ceremony Aug. 25, 2011, at the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing in Southwest Asia. Their ceremony mirrored the TACP Memorial Ceremony held annually at Hurlburt Field, Fla. The Airmen rendered a salute and a observed a moment of silence for Staff Sgt. Jacob Frazier, Senior Airman Bradley Smith, Airman 1st Class Raymond Losano and all others who have given their lives in the defense of our nation. TACPs deployed worldwide align their individual ceremonies with the memorial in Florida to create a unified acknowledgement of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The TACP mission is to advise Army combat commanders on the use of Air Force air power. When necessary, they direct Air Force fighters and bombers in the employment of munitions within close proximity of friendly forces to neutralize enemy attacks. Pictured: Maj.
