Every day in the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing at a non-disclosed base here, deployed service members participate in activities that reflect heavily on showing patriotism in their service and their country.

On May 29, for example, an every-day scene of firefighters lowering the American flag at the wing's Sept. 11, 2001, memorial could be seen. And in another moment, Airmen from the 380th Expeditionary Force Support Squadron could be seen saluting to the playing of the national anthem during a ceremony.

The 380th EFSS is possibly a good example of how patriotism is reflected in the Air Force and the military.  In addtion to active duty Airmen from base all across the Air Force, the deployed squadron has Air National Guard teams from Michigan, Hawaii and as far away as Guam.
