Deployed Airmen at an undisclosed base in Southwest Asia, Tech. Sgt. Aliza Adanza (left) and Staff Sgt. Gautambhai Patel, both of the 380th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron, use their laptops March 18 outdoors to communicate with their friends and families back home using wireless internet connections.

Recently wireless internet was enabled by the expeditionary communications squadron inside the dormitories of all 1900 service members who live and work at the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing. Being able to stay in touch with loved ones boosts the morale of deployed personnel.

The communications personnel spent long hours working to get the wing up and running with wireless inside, in addition to, outside of the living areas to ease the strain of being far away from home while the Airmen here focus on supporting Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom as well as Combined-Joint-Task-Force Horn of Africa.
