Senior Airman Daniel Cardenas, 380th Expedtionary Maintenance Squadron, is the warrior of the week for the 380th Expeditionary Maintenance Group. Airman Cardenas is an aerospace ground equipment apprentice.

Airman Cardenas was selected for various reasons. According to his leadership, he was instrumental in repairing a gas turbine compressor, in less than 2 minutes, in support of a United States Navy RQ-4 maritime mission.

Additionally, he performed 172 equipment dispatches and supported 108 combat
sorties responsible--for more than 970 flying hours.

He also rapidly diagnosed an overvoltage fault on an electrical generator to a failed
circuit card assembly and helped clinch an on-time take-off.

Airman Cardenas is from San Antonio, Texas. His homestation is McGuire Air Force Base, N.J.
