A1C Francisco Bautista

Job: Construction Equipment Operator, Heavy repair flight

Home unit/base: 316 Civil Engineering Squadron / Andrews AFB

What is your impact to the mission? I work to ensure the airfield is clean to keep the airplanes to maintain the ATO. I help build the concrete pads for the army for when they arrive which helps them for missile defense.  I also help other shops in operating equipment whenever they need it.

What do you enjoy most about the deployment? I enjoy the environment and working with my fellow Airmen. They support me in every way on what I do in my job. This is my first deployment location and it has so far been the best, I never thought I would learn even more about my job because I am being put to the test. I like to be challenged!

Key Accomplishment: Airman Bautista was heavily involved in placing and leveling more than 120 tons of base material to support the new fligh line dining facility and the new Army mission.
