Tech. Sgt. Pete hit the ground running and hasn't slowed a bit. She has provided over 400 Flight Mission Forecasts covering four different airframes, each with their own unique weather thresholds. Sergeant Pete monitors the weather throughout the AOR and ensures aircrews are kept up to date in rapidly changing conditions. Desert weather forecasting presents numerous forecast challenges such as heat, wind, and dust to name a few. Sergeant Pete has mastered each and every one. In addition to her dedication to the mission, she used her off-duty time to complete one college course as well as being an active part of the base community. She is instrumental in the overall success of the weather flight and a critical linchpin in helping the 380 Air Expeditionary Wing meet the frag.
