Grant, the previous commander of the Ninth Air Force (Air Forces Central) Air Warfare Center, is awarded the Legion of Merit during a change of command ceremony July 15, 2022, at Erth Hotel, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The Legion of Merit is a military award of the United States Armed Forces that is given for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services and achievements.
