Senior Airman Jody Allen, a crew chief assigned to the 335th Expeditionary Fighter Generation Squadron, places an inlet cover on a U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle during Agile Combat Employment exercise “Agile Tuskegee” July 12, 2022, at Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates. Crew chiefs are responsible for day-to-day maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, replacing components and providing detailed periodic inspections.
