Staff Sgt. Paxton Paillot, a structures craftsman assigned to the 380th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, uses a hammer and crowbar to pry loose a damaged section of plywood flooring in a residential living building, July 27, 2022, at Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates. The high heat and humidity of the UAE can cause damage to wood structures over time. Structural specialists inspect for and repair damaged flooring by removing compromised plywood and installing a more resilient form board.
